Write for us
We welcome pitches that explain a specific, useful part of making amateur theatre. Send proposals through the Contact page; a clear question and a defined reader are more helpful than a broad promise to cover theatre.
What we welcome
Pitch clear, original articles about script choice, rehearsal, directing, production coordination or performance preparation. A contribution should give readers a way to understand or consider a particular decision, not merely list general encouragement.
What to include
Tell us the proposed subject, the main point, who will find it useful and how you would handle it. Note any relevant experience without presenting yourself as a credentialled expert unless that claim is accurate and relevant. Flag sources, permissions or potential conflicts of interest.
How to send a pitch
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Send a proposal rather than a full article unless we have requested a draft. Do not include confidential information about a company, performer or production without permission.
