Editorial policy
Everyday Stage Review aims to make theatre-making easier to understand without overstating what an article can establish. We explain our reasoning, keep claims proportionate and make changes when a material error is identified.
Accuracy and independence
We check names, terminology and factual claims against suitable sources where needed, and we distinguish opinion or interpretation from verifiable fact. Coverage is shaped by editorial judgement, not by a partner's preferred message. We do not claim first-hand testing or research unless an article clearly describes what was done.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review correction requests and amend material errors; where a change affects the substance of an article, we make the update clear to readers.
Partner material
Paid placements and partner contributions are labelled clearly where they appear, so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial coverage. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Illustrations
Some illustrations on the site may be generated using artificial intelligence. Illustrations are not evidence of a real production, person, venue or event unless the accompanying text says so.
